Winterize Your Docks

EZ Docks are manufactured with polyethylene, which is a material that allows the docks to remain flexible in even -90 degrees Fahrenheit. So while ice and cold temps don’t pose a particularly nasty threat to your docks, the piping and piling in the docks can be affected. Ice pressure can build up and bend these crucial facets. Therefore, we do recommend our customers remove their docks before the winter months roll in to avoid any damages.

Disassembly is just as simple as the installation process. With the tools used for installation, you can quickly remove your docks and store them away safely until warmer temperatures come back to stay. If you do decide to remove your docks for the winter, remember to ask about our EZ Dock Dock Wheels. These attach directly to your docks, giving you the ability to tow them out of the water and easily move them to land. This makes the removal and re-installation process that much more EZ.
